DocsYour library in other AI apps
Your team library, in your own agent
On Angelo Teams, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, the Claude app, VS Code or any app that speaks MCP can search your organization's library and read its IPs, as you. Read-only: it can never change anything.
Connect an app#
Open the console and choose AI apps under Create. Pick your app; the steps fill in the address for you. In short:
| App | Add Angelo | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | claude mcp add --transport http team-library https://console.angelo.studio/mcp | Type /mcp, choose team-library, then Authenticate. |
| Codex | A [mcp_servers.team-library] entry with url set to the address, in ~/.codex/config.toml | codex mcp login team-library |
| Cursor | A team-library server with that url in ~/.cursor/mcp.json | Settings ▸ MCP ▸ Connect. |
| Claude (web and desktop) | Settings ▸ Connectors ▸ Add custom connector, with the address | Connect. |
| VS Code | An http server named team-library in .vscode/mcp.json | Start, then Allow. |
Your browser opens the console to ask for your permission. The app's name is the one it gave itself, so the page marks it unverified and shows where Allow sends you; allow only an app you just started connecting. Name the server anything except Angelo: apps register under that name, and Angelo's own name is kept for the Angelo app, whose local connection already uses angelo.
What a connected app can do#
| The app can | How |
|---|---|
| Search the library | By words in titles, descriptions and tags, by kind, tag or IP entity, newest first. |
| Open a file | With a download link straight from storage that works for 10 minutes. |
| Read IPs | Each IP's characters, locations, props, creatures, styles and lore, with their fields, versions and references. |
| Build a prompt | Resolve characters and places into prompt text and an ordered list of reference images, for use in its own generations. |
It can't upload, edit, move or delete anything, generate with your team's keys, see another member's personal space, or reach another organization. Each sign-in is for one organization.
Signing out, and turning it off#
Every connected app is listed in Your devices and on the AI apps page, with Sign out; it stops at once. Admins see each member's apps in People ▸ Devices, and connecting and signing out are in the audit log.
Owners and admins can turn AI apps off in Settings ▸ General. That signs out every connected app in the organization and stops new ones until it is on again. The Angelo app isn't affected. Removing someone from the organization signs out their apps too.
Not the same as Claude Code in Angelo#
This connection reads the team library and IPs from anywhere, with Angelo open or not. To let Claude Code or Codex work in your open scene, connect them from Angelo's Preferences instead (Claude Code and Codex). The two can be used side by side.
