At a glance

  • On a Mac, ⌃ is the Control key and ⌥ the Option key. Angelo's shortcuts use Control, not Command, as Blender does.
  • Blender's own shortcuts work as always, in Director too.

01Modes and the chat#

DoesMacWindows
Switch between Director and Manual⌃ ⌥ MCtrl Alt M
Show or hide the chat (Manual mode)⌃ ⌥ NCtrl Alt N

Both work from any editor, and the Director / Manual menu shows the mode shortcut. Show or hide the chat also works while you type in the chat.

02In the message box#

DoesMacWindows

Select all, copy, cut, paste⌘ A, ⌘ C, ⌘ X, ⌘ VCtrl A, Ctrl C, Ctrl X, Ctrl V
Move the caret, select with Shift← → ↑ ↓ Home End← → ↑ ↓ Home End
Move through the chat's buttonsTab, ⇧ Tab; Return or Space pressesTab, Shift Tab; Enter or Space presses
Close a menu or clear the selectionEscEsc

03Menus and cards#

  • In the model list, type to search; ↑ ↓ and Return pick. In the effort card, ← → change the effort.
  • In the + menu, ↑ ↓ move and Return picks.
  • On Angelo's cards (the welcome screen, What's New, a preview to accept), Return does the main action and Esc closes. Turning on Fast always needs a click.

Esc never stops a running request: use the square Stop button. Your quit shortcut always works, whatever is open.

04Blender's own#

Everything else is Blender 5.2.2's keymap. The one change: Shift F4 always opens the Python Console, and never the chat.
