Find every feature

The + button at the left of the chat's message box is Angelo's main menu. It is the same in Director and Manual mode, and every feature Angelo adds to Blender starts from it.

At a glance

  • Press + in the message box. Features sit in two columns under Create, Start from, Inspect and Share, with Attach beside the search field.
  • Some features are groups: click one and its rows open as a page of their own, with a Back button. The menu always opens at the top.
  • Type to search every feature and every row inside the groups. Point at a feature, and the strip at the bottom says what you get.

01Open the menu#

  1. Click + at the left of the message box. The menu opens above the box, as tall as it needs to be.
  2. Click a feature to open it. Click a group, such as Video or Render, and its rows replace the grid; Back returns.
  3. Or start typing: the search finds features and the rows inside groups, such as an engine, a flow or a base mesh, and names the group each one is in.
  4. The keyboard works too: the arrow keys move over the grid, Return opens or picks, ← or Backspace goes back from a group, and Esc clears the search, then closes the menu.

Every feature fits without scrolling. Only a long group, such as the base meshes or your saved flows, scrolls inside its own page. In a very narrow chat the grid becomes one column.

Report a bug and Request a feature are at the foot of the menu (Feedback).

04Start from#

RowWhat it does
Base meshes (a group)21 sculpt-ready heads, bodies, hands and more, at real size. Pick one and it is added when you send your message (Start from a base mesh).
Work on handsThe agent starts from the selected rig's hands and Angelo's hand tools. Like a base mesh, it applies when you send.

New in 1.0.8 UV checkerSee how textures land on every mesh: a grid, texel density or stretch. Your materials stay as they are (UV checker).

06Share#

RowWhat it does
Web exportA web-ready .glb for Three.js, with its size budget (Web export).
Live browser previewYour scene in your own browser as Three.js draws it, updated as you work (Live browser preview).
Game engine live link (a group)Turn on the live link (or Turn off), Add Angelo Link to a Godot project…, the same for a Unity or an Unreal Engine project, and, while a model is linked, Stop editing it (Game engine link).

07Or ask the agent#

You don't have to know where a feature lives. Ask in the chat, for example “how do I link Unity?” or “can Angelo render with V-Ray?”: the agent answers with where to find it, and where it can turn a feature on for you, it shows a card for you to approve first.

A few features also live where you already look while you work: the render engine in Director's top bar and Render ▸ Render Engine (Render engines), and Select Through beside X-ray in the 3D view's header (Select Through).

A worker's chat during parallel edit doesn't offer Base meshes or Work on hands: they apply to your own scene when you send.
