At a glance

  • Connect a fal key for Seedance, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and O3, MiniMax H3 and Wan 3.0, or use your BytePlus ModelArk key for Seedance.
  • Every model picker names the model's provider and account, and its price per second at the chosen resolution.
  • A finished clip plays in Angelo, goes into the Sequencer as one Undo step, or opens as a file.

Where to find it

Video generation (fal models, Seedance on BytePlus)
Chat bar + menu ▸ Create ▸ Video ▸ Video (Media Studio's Video tab). A key first: AI Providers ▸ Media generation ▸ fal, or AI Providers ▸ BytePlus ModelArk for Seedance; each model picker names its provider and price.

Or ask the agent in the chat where to find it: it answers from the same list.

01Connect a video provider#

In Preferences ▸ AI Providers, click Add connection, choose Media generation and the provider, paste the key and click Connect (API keys). The provider bills the key's owner directly.

ProviderKeyVideo models
falYour fal key. Get a fal key in your browser opens fal's key page. The same key also makes 3D models with TRELLIS 2.Seedance 2.0, 2.0 Fast and 2.5; Veo 3.1 and 3.1 Fast; Kling 3.0 Pro and Standard; Kling O3 Pro and Standard; MiniMax H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo; Wan 3.0
BytePlusYour BytePlus ModelArk key, the same one that makes Seedream images. Activate the Seedance model in the BytePlus console first: BytePlus refuses a key without it.Seedance 2.0 Fast, 2.0 Mini, 2.0 and 2.5

The same Seedance model can be on both lists. Each picker entry shows its provider, account and price per second side by side, so you can choose which one bills.

02Make a clip#

  1. Open the Video tab: + at the left of the message box ▸ Video ▸ Video, or open Media Studio and choose Video.
  2. Pick the model. Seedance 2.0 Fast is the default.
  3. Choose what the clip starts from:
    • A prompt alone: describe the shot.
    • Frames: Add first frame… and, if you want the clip to end on a picture, Add last frame…. Each offers From the current camera (renders your scene camera's view), Image file… or one of your Media Studio images. You can also drop a picture on the tab. The clip takes its shape from the first frame.
    • References: with no frame set, add pictures of a subject or a style for the clip to follow, on models that take them. The tab shows how many the model takes.
  4. Write or refine the prompt (Expand, AI Enhance), then set Length, Resolution, Aspect ratio and Audio. Each offers only what the chosen model supports. Audio is off by default; Veo and Kling bill it extra.
  5. Read the price under the settings, in the form "≈ $… · 5 s at 720p (estimate, prices as of …)". It changes with the model, length, resolution and audio, and reads "Price unknown" when the provider publishes no price for that choice.
  6. Click Generate video. The confirmation repeats the model, the account, the price, how many pictures it uploads and what Stop does. It runs when you click Generate video there.

Frames and references stay on your computer until you confirm. On fal they are uploaded to unlisted links that fal serves to anyone who has the link.

You can also ask in the chat for a clip: the agent picks the model and settings, and its approval card shows the length and the price before anything is paid. In Generation Flows, a Generate Video step does the same inside a flow.

03While it's made#

The clip appears in Media Studio's library with its progress. You can keep working.

  • On fal, the item's menu offers Cancel at fal. fal cancels a request that is still queued; one already started may still finish and be billed, and then it is downloaded rather than thrown away.
  • On BytePlus, a video can't be stopped once it is sent: it finishes, is billed and is saved in the library.
  • Quitting Angelo only pauses watching. The next time Angelo starts, it checks on the clips it had sent and downloads each one when it's ready; it never sends a request a second time. If the provider's connection is missing, the item asks you to reconnect it in AI Providers.

04Use the finished clip#

A ready clip shows its first frame in the library. Click it for its menu:

ChooseWhat happens
PlayPlays the clip in Blender's animation player.
Add to SequencerAdds the clip as movie strips (with its sound, when it has any) at the current frame, on the first free channels. One Undo step takes it back.
Show FileShows the video file in Finder or Explorer.
Export…Saves a copy of the .mp4 wherever you choose.

You can also drag the clip onto the Sequencer to add it as a strip.
