DocsAI Render
A styled render in one click
New in 1.0.8AI Render restyles what your scene camera sees into a finished picture with an image model. You describe the look; the card shows the model, the price and the account that pays before you render.
Where to find it#
- Render ▸ AI Render… in the top bar.
- In Director, the render engine button in the top bar ▸ AI Render…
- + at the left of the message box ▸ Render ▸ AI render.
- F3 and search for AI Render.
Make an AI render#
- Make sure the scene has a camera, and connect an image account once (Nano Banana through Gemini, Seedream through BytePlus, or OpenAI) in Preferences ▸ AI Providers ▸ Media generation.
- Open AI Render. The card names the camera it restyles through.
- Under Style, describe the look, for example a watercolour storybook in soft morning light. The card remembers your last style.
- Under Model, pick the account and model. Nano Banana and Seedream are listed first; any connected image account works.
- Read the line under it: "Billed to account · price. One image, no automatic retries." The price is an estimate, or "price unknown" when Angelo has none.
- Click Render. Angelo captures the camera's view on your computer, for free, and the model restyles it. The picture's shape is the nearest of 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 and 3:4 to your camera's.
Without a camera or an image account, the card says so and Render stays off; Connect in AI Providers takes you there.
While it runs, and after#
| What you can do | |
|---|---|
| While it runs | The card moves to the 3D view's corner so you can keep working. Close leaves it running; Stop stops Angelo watching it (a request the provider already received may still be billed). |
| When it's done | Open in Media Studio shows the picture first in the Image tab, where you can animate it or use it as a reference. Render again makes a new picture. |
| If it fails | The card shows the provider's error. |
Changing how it works#
AI Render is an ordinary Generation Flow called AI render, created in your file the first time you use it: a camera capture, a style text and an image step. You can open it in the Node Editor and change it, or start one from the AI render template. Once you change its steps, run it from the flow, whose approval lists each paid step and its price (Generation Flows).
